Primal Gym
Primal Gym is an excellent example of how Exigo has delivered a custom built end-to-end gym solution, to include product customisation and personalisation.
Primal is located at Leeds Dock, West Yorkshire – a thriving mixed development with retail, office, residential and leisure presence. Faced with an empty shell of around 11,000 square feet over two floors, without heat, light or water, the Primal team considered a number of fit-out options.
With the aim of providing their clients with healthier and happier lives, the challenge was to find a supplier that “understood our ethos and shared our passion for success.”
Primal selected Exigo to deliver a complete gym solution with flexibility for customisation and personalisation of the product. Other suppliers seemed disinterested or were unable to deliver the total package. Primal Gym opened its doors to members in January 2015 and now host’s the popular urban assault course, ‘Primal Stampede.’
The gym’s unique layout means there aren’t rows of treadmills, bikes and TV screens. Instead members can expect an array of equipment, so that workouts remain interesting and never go stale. Think Elite Power Racks, Lifting Platforms, a boxing ring, sprint tracks, a combat training area, monkey bars, climbing ropes, sled work and a whole lot more.
