onePT is the perfect example of how Exigo has not just delivered but surpassed all expectations in bringing an initial concept to life – the type of facility and member experience that has never been done before – to create a hybrid of a personal training studio that maximises the experience for 1 to 1 training for both client and PT, to facilitate not only small group Personal Training but also group functional fitness classes for up to 15 people – and still provide the opportunity to use the facility as a gym by maximising the limited space available – a 5000 sq ft converted industrial unit.
It has been widely documented by leading industry experts that brands which will thrive in the fitness sector over the next 10 years will be the hybrids that integrate physical and digital delivery and more importantly create a true customer experience – a fantastic training environment that also creates a strong sense of community and belonging. Aesthetics and facility design would therefore be so important to the onePT model.
The challenge was to find a supplier that would get to understand our vision, concepts, philosophies and mission statement; and most importantly our core values of Passion, Strength and Honesty – and how these would come alive through the design and build process.
Exigo were the natural choice to deliver a complete solution for onePT, from the gym design and layout including the inter-linked workstations, the storage solutions, the performance flooring and sled track, the production of the onePT Kitchen, through to the complete fit out of the changing rooms, and also arranging all the lease agreements with the additional equipment suppliers.
The gym floor area provides the complete environment for those new to exercise, to those engaged in the most advanced sports specific training regimens and the Functional Training Rig offers ultimate performance and versatility whether it be for 1 to 1 or Small Group PT sessions or simply being the cornerstone of our Functional Fitness Classes.
