Gym Unique believe everyone should have access to the highest standard of gym equipment in order to enjoy a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Exigo partnered with Physical Company to transform a disused travel warehouse into a vibrant functional training and group exercise space, located on the outskirts of Durham City.
The mission was to create a de-cluttered, practical and stylish open plan functional training area that inspired movement and maximised every inch of floor. Gym Unique needed a facility that was able to support up to 60 classes every week, while also providing the essential training areas to include strength and cardio.
Exigo worked with Physical Company to manage the entire project from design through to full installation. The layout was critical to ensure classes and every day members can operate effectively within the facility.
A bespoke configuration of a Functional Six30 Rig is the focal point of the room, allowing for numerous training exercises and regimes, while a large free weights and cardio area offer personal trainers variety in their programs.
Physical Company also supplied a range of functional training accessories such as battle ropes and tracker tyres, as well as a 22m x 4m sprint track and a selection of 20 cardio machines.
