Primal Stampede

Primal Stampede, organised by Primal Gym in association with the Jane Tomlinson Appeal is Leeds’ first Urban Assault Course. Test your courage, skills, fitness and stamina.

Primal Stampede is a two lap (3.5k) assault course around Leeds Dock, with ten fun and challenging obstacles, including 7ft climbing walls, monkey bars, scramble nets, sand bag carry, ice water dips, tyre hops and a water slide. Anyone aged 16 or older can participate and all profits raised go to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and Radio Aire’s charity Cash for Kids

The Jane Tomlinson Appeal raises funds for children’s and cancer charities. When approached by Primal, Exigo were more than willing to supply a Club Series CrossFit Rig, manufactured especially for the event.

A great day was had by all, even the spectators. Look out for Primal Stampede again next year!

“Primal Stampede not only provides brilliant opportunity for people to get involved in enjoyable fitness activities, but raises significant funds for charities. It promises to be a fantastic day and one I’m very proud to support.”

“It was great to part of such an exciting event, all in support of such a great cause; the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. There was blood, sweat and dirt but it was all worth it, let’s do it again next year!”

Manchester Titans

Manchester Titans American Football Club was established in 2003 when a small group of players were no longer prepared to travel outside of Manchester to play their game.

Exigo donated a Fitness Sled and attachment. Previously the team had no way of loading players’ legs in a training environment. Exigo also provided the team with a pull up bar to attach to the side of their training ground cabin.

This equipment has enabled Manchester Titans to condition its athletes on the field, resulting in improved conditioning and sprint speed, along with stronger, faster players.

“When we were approached by Manchester Titans we were delighted to support our local American Football team as well as enhancing the clubs strength & conditioning facility by supplying some of the very latest Exigo equipment.

Craig Young, Sales & Marketing Director, Exigo-UK

“We are a non-profit making organisation and it’s been a massive help to get the support of a local business that manufactures such high quality strength and conditioning products”

James Dean, Senior Team Manager, Manchester Titans

The SportFX project offers free weekly sport sessions to young people aged 10-19.

This successful scheme offers young people an opportunity to participate in football, boxing and dance, as well as providing a platform to reduce antisocial behaviour, these sessions help develop communication, discipline and team working skills.

With the likes of Howard Webb and Paul Jones flying the flag high for Sport FX, the project continues to grow. Every day of the week there is a SportFX session at a school in South Yorkshire.

The sessions are delivered by qualified FA coaches with the support of local Police Community Support Officers, Police Officers and volunteers.

When approached by South Yorkshire Police, Exigo were more than willing to supply specialist boxing equipment, gloves and punch bags to help the cause.

“Sport FX is an impressive scheme, it provides young people with the opportunity to participate in sport and meet new people. It’s great to see young people getting involved and enjoying our equipment.”
